Weird Things Passengers Forget in PCO Cars

PCO drivers come across different kinds of passengers carrying various items. While many remember to take their belongings with them when alighting the vehicle, some still leave items behind.

A recent survey asked drivers to mention the most common and weirdest things left by passengers in their cars, and the answers were amusing.

Let’s start with the most common things left behind by passengers in PCO vehicles:

  • Mobile phones
  • Keys
  • Glasses
  • Food
  • Wallet

Mobile phones take the top spot as pretty much everyone carries them nowadays. The rest of the items are also common, but mobile phones dominate this list by a significant margin.

Now, we move to the strangest items left behind by passengers in PCO vehicles. The list includes:

  • A carry bag containing £5,000
  • A pet rabbit
  • An antique gun
  • A “massive” jar of cannabis
  • A bag of bricks
  • An urn
  • A bag full of wigs
  • Live goldfish in a plastic bag
  • False teeth (dentures)
  • A bag of raw chicken

These items paint a picture of how unpredictable the job is and the people professional drivers interact with daily.

Apart from the lost and found items, the drivers complained about the mess passengers leave behind, such as discarded pizza boxes, coffee spills, cigarette butts, etc. As a result, many drivers have to clean their vehicles after completing rides.

This shows a clear disregard for drivers’ personal space and time, making their job more stressful. It’s high time passengers started respecting PCO drivers and taking responsibility for their own actions to help create a more supportive working environment.
