Summer Festival 2026 Brooklands: Busy Sunday Ahead for PCO Drivers
The London Bus Museum’s Summer Festival will be held on Sunday, 28th June 2026 at Brooklands, Weybridge. The event is open to families and bus enthusiasts and features a full day of activities.
Highlights include heritage bus tours around the local area in 1950s and 1960s RT and Routemaster buses, rides in a newly restored horse-bus, a 1950s Beardmore taxi, guided workshop tours, a traders market, and a children’s corner with a driver simulator and real bus cab.
A free Bus 462 service will run on a circular route linking Weybridge Station and Library with the Museum, using both heritage and modern wheelchair-accessible buses.
For families and groups travelling from across London and Surrey, the journey itself can be the first challenge of the day. Reaching a venue like Brooklands without worrying about parking or public transport changes is where private hire demand tends to rise around events of this size.
This makes it a notable date for PCO-licensed drivers operating in and around the Weybridge, Surrey, and South West London corridors.
