What is the meaning of PCO rent to buy?

+

PCO rent to buy is a vehicle ownership model where you pay fixed weekly instalments over 3 to 5 years. You also pay a small deposit to secure the car. Unlike rental agreements, you own the car at the end of the term. Most plans also include payment holidays, letting you freeze payments while keeping the car. If you need to return the vehicle, you can do so after 6 months for a small exit fee.

Can I use a PCO rent to buy car on Uber or Bolt?

+

Yes. If the car is fully insured, has a valid PHV licence, and passes MOT checks, you can use it across ride-hailing platforms like Uber, Bolt, and FREENOW. All our rent-to-buy cars meet these requirements.

Do I need a credit check?

+

No credit check is required. You just need a valid UK driving licence, a PCO licence, and proof that you are actively working on a ride-hailing platform.

What happens if I don’t pay the instalment?

+

Non-payment can lead to the car being repossessed. Always ensure you can afford the payments before committing.

Can I rent to buy an EV for PCO use?

+

Yes. We offer EVs under our rent-to-buy plan. EVs are a great way to save on fuel and reduce emissions while driving for ride-hailing apps.

Who handles the car servicing and tyres?

+

We cover all manufacturer-recommended servicing and tyre replacement during the rent-to-buy term. All maintenance is carried out in-house at our own garage to ensure high standards and quick turnaround times.

Is MOT included during the rent-to-buy term?

+

Yes. MOT and licensing are included throughout the rent-to-buy term.

What happens if my car breaks down?

+

We provide 24/7 breakdown assistance. If the car requires extended repairs, we’ll provide a replacement vehicle to keep you on the road.
